HALO has provided a much-needed service to the community by addressing the homeless and abandoned animals
We provide other alternatives to those individuals who feel abandonment or surrendering their companion is the only option.
HALO envisions a community where every dog, regardless of their past, has the opportunity to thrive in loving, secure home and their household is equipped with the resources and support needed to provide life long care.
Our Mission
At HALO, we bridge the gap for dogs who are overlooked, overwhelmed or struggling in the shelter system by providing the rehabilitation, care and time these dogs need to become adoptable AND every owner, adopter and foster recieves the tools and support needed to flourish
What We Do
Our organization provides compassionate care, expert rehabilitation and personalized support to transition lost or adoptable shelter dogs into loving forever homes. Daycare and boarding services at our facility generates vital funds to enhance our programs and empower fosters and adopters with education and ongoing support.

Our team operates a dedicated daycare and boarding service for dogs, providing exceptional care for our guests. One hundred percent of funds generated support our shelter dogs.

HALO delivers comprehensive physical, emotional and social care for any and all dogs in our program. Our expert team develops individualized behavior rehabilitation and training plans to address each dog’s unique needs. Every dog is equipped with skills necessary to transition seamlessly into a loving home when they leave our program.

We work hand-in-hand with fosters and adopter to offer education and ongoing support.
Our goal is to build confident partnerships, transforming fear into trust and uncertainty into lasting, positive relationships. Together, through our innovative boarding model and compassionate rehabilitation services, we are not only preparing dogs for their new lives but are also creating a support system that ensures a positive transition from shelter life to a vibrant home with a loving family,.
HALO Accomplishes Our Goals Through:
This program allows us to welcome a shelter dog for 30 days for specialized training, care and relaxation. Dogs selected for this program are typically struggling in their environment, have been returned several times, overlooked for adoption, or have some needs that are unable to be met in the shelter setting.
Shelter Partner Program
HALO’s Safe Pets Program provides temporary, safe care for dogs belonging to individuals experiencing homelessness. By working directly with local social workers, we support both pets and their people during housing transitions by offering up to 30 days of care in a secure, compassionate environment.
This program ensures dogs remain safe, loved, and cared for while their people can focus on finding stable housing, knowing their companion is in good hands.
