Due to the stay-at-home order as a result of COVID-19 we decided to help an animal who needed a home by fostering. Unsurprisingly to anyone who knows us, we very quickly became foster failures and welcomed Harley, a 6 year old Blue Heeler / Australian Cattle dog, into our home and heart forever. Harley settled in immediately with our two kids and has enjoyed being the only dog in the house to ensure maximum attention from everyone. She is so kind and gentle...and has been learning new commands easily. The process of getting Harley through HALO was seamless and a great experience. The staff wanted to ensure the situation worked for everyone (dog and people...the giver and receiver) involved. It was a wonderful  experience and we are forever grateful for their services.
